NYSC vs. LA Fitness
I want to join a gym but I'm not sure which may be more worth it...LA Fitness in New Hyde Park or NYSC in Great Neck.
Both are very close to where I live. Anyone have any personal experience with either of them?

I love NYSC! I have a passport membership and I use the clubs in huntington, Syosset and Commack...the great neck facility is great! and they have great classes! Overall, I think NYSC is one of the best health clubs around.

I dont know anything about NYSC but I love LA Fitness.
Tons of parking
Open 24hours during the week, great hours on the weekends.
You never have to wait for a machine. Awesome classes (like kickboxing, latin dance, spelling belly dancing as well as the good ole stand bys like step and yoga).
The locker rooms are gorgeous and not very crowded.

I don't know much at NYSC but I was a member of the LA Fitness in Lake Success for two years (until I moved recently) and loved it. It is a great gym.

Awwwe too bad we didn't work out together when I was over there.
I absolutely LOVED LA fitness. I'm so sad I had to move away from it  The gyms out here really s*ck in comparison
