neutering costs?
Can anyone tell me how much it costs to get your dog neutered? I'm sure it's different for a male versus female. Jedi is a male.
i was told that it could be up to $600!!!
But i got a tip to get a certificate off of friends of animals website where they have participating vets. If you give them the certificate, it's only about $90 to get the dog fixed. Has anyone done this?

Re: neutering costs?
I did that to get Misty spayed. At the time, it was $75 for females plus the meds and anesthesia. It still only came to about $200 to have her spayed which is pretty cheap. Neutering is even less invasive so you may pay even less.
It's good cuz you can still use a local vet, I actually use that vet now for both animals as they are pretty good.

Re: neutering costs?
I used Friends of Animals for my cat when I still lived on Long Island. About three years ago I think I paid $50 through them to get my male cat fixed, I highly recommend it.

Re: neutering costs?
My vet in Huntington was $140 for Bruno. That included the overnight stay & the follow up visits & pain meds.

Cooper's cost about that, but he didn't have to stay over night.

Re: neutering costs?
It cost us $80 including pain meds for Max to get fixed and that was with him being in the higher weight category. We were very happy with the way they treated him (and the way they still do).
