Reasonable Vacations
DH and I are looking for some vacation ideas that would be pretty reasonable, but relaxing and fun as well. We have thought about a short cruise or a trip to Vegas but I don't really know if they are going to end up being very reasonable. Any other ideas?

Re: Reasonable Vacations
Ther is a lot of cool stuff to do right on the East coast. we are the King and Queen of short, reasonable vacations.
Ithaca-can also hit the NY wineries around Cayuga lake area Saratoga
Martha's Vineyard/provincetown-there is a ferry all the way or just to CT and you drive about 3 hrs more.
Charleston, SC-awesome city-lots to do Boston

Re: Reasonable Vacations
we thought out Vegas trip was going to be "reasonable" however I doubt it is going to turn out that way- oh well...
for our bdays we went on a short cruise to the Bahamas -it was very reasonable and we had a great time!

Re: Reasonable Vacations
You could do a fairly cheap weekend trip to Boston or Providence. Martha's Vineyward is a great idea too. The Poconos, upstate NY towns, DC...

Re: Reasonable Vacations
we're going to New orleans for a long weekend in July. The airfare is around $200, and hotel was really inexpensive.....so I'd count that as pretty reasonable
