i went to kauai and maui for my HM and LOVED it!!!! There is a little ramen noodle house in kauai -- samara ramen or something like that. It's a little dump that the locals frequent but SO good!!!! We went there 2 or 3 times. In maui, go to Sansei for sushi. Amazing!

Re: Hawaii in three weeks!

Maui is awesome! I highly recommend the Old Lahaina Luau if you didn't already book it try to book it.

Also, the Road to Hana is amazing! It is a whole day drive but it is totally worth it.

Re: Hawaii in three weeks!

I am so jealous!!! We went last year for our HM and stayed at the Hyatts. Hawaii is just so beautiful, and the Hyatts are great. Wait till you see the pool at the Kaui Hyatt.

You must eat at the "Beach House" Restaurant in Kaui. Make reservations for around 6pm so you will be there for the sunset. Try to get a seat by the window, and bring your sunglasses. The food is so good and the view is fantastic. (Right on the water). Also, get the chocolate souffle, it was delicious. Try to call at least a few days before to make reservations. It books up really fast. I actually called before we left for vacation.

Another recommendation is biking down the Haleakala mountain in Maui. It was so much fun, and the view is amazing. We used the company"Bike it Maui" I highly reccomenend them. I think they where a bit more money, but it was a smaller group then others I saw, and they where really nice. Also, they brought us to a great restaurant at the end to have breakfast, and I had the best breakfast burrito I ever had. The restaurant we went to was a local place, and it is actually where Willie Nelson hangs out.

Also, I would recommend renting either a jeep or a convertible. You will want the top down a lot, especially at night. The weather is so perfect.

Have a great time!!!
