Is $75 a reasonable price for an updo?
I called a salon to get a price and the girl said that the starting price is $75. It seems like a lot to me.

that is what I paid recently to get my hair did for a wedding...
I thought it was ok, but a little high-- but I don't usually do that.

For my wedding, I paid less than that - I think it was $60-$65, so for a regular up do I think it would be less than that.

Is it for a wedding? They seem to jack prices up... I had my hair done for a wedding (I was a guest) last week and the prices started at $50.00 but mine was $60.00 ...how they came to that I don't know because I didn't have anything too elaborate... but that's what it was...
for my wedding the BMS paid $80.00

$75 for an updo at your house is a good deal. but IMO, it shouldn't cost more than $50 at a salon.  not unless the person who's getting it done has long and thick hair.

I agree that $75 is too much in a salon, non wedding. I wouldnt pay more than $50
