Resume and new job question
I started a new job in June which I am not loving so I want to send my resume out and start looking again. I know it looks bad to put this job on my resume considering I have been there a month.
Any suggestions?

Re: Resume and new job question
Since its only been a month I would leave it off and just have your last job on there. Then when you get calls think of something to say, yes you're working but the job wasn't what they told you, etc.

Re: Resume and new job question
I am in the same situation. I started my job in March and have been looking. When people ask me why I am leaving I tell them the truth - it is honestly not a great fit for my background and I am looking for something more challenging. This is something you don't know until after you start - it happens

Re: Resume and new job question
i started looking for a job 4 months after i started at one company. I put the job on my resume but in my cover letter made sure to include towards the bottom "truth be told, i miss the travel industry terribly and would love to return to it." That did the trick - I wasn't questioned by anyone.
