loudon, new hampshire
Hi....we are trying to go to a friends house in Loudon one weekend in Sept. Unfortunately, the weekend is that of a Nascar race and I cannot find a hotel. Is anyone familiar with Loudon that could name a town close to it, within a 1/2 hour that I can look into for a hotel? or a motel? That is the only weekend we can do it and I am so bummed....TIA

Maybe check Concord, it's the state capital and less than 30 minutes away. Manchester is only about a half an hour away as well.
I went to visit my friend in NH one year during Loudon (she lives north though). I went home through Vermont because I didn't want to deal with all of the traffic from the race.

i was going to suggest concord, or manchester too. good luck it's really tough on a race weekend to get a place to stay...there's a holiday inn in louden that has rooms sometimes

If it's a NASCAR weekend, you won't be able to find a hotel for at least 25 miles. My NASCAR people book a year in advance and still have trouble finding a place.
