First Anniversary Trip To Sedona!! Any Recommendations??????
I have been before when I was in middle school and my husband has never been....it looks like we are staying in Sedona and we are going to the Grand Canyon and Vegas...
Anyone been recently?? Any recommendations????

I have not been recently, but I always love to go to the chapel - it's a Catholic Church with an awesome view.

Take one of those jeep tours! They go offroading around all the red rock formations and tell you about the area. DH and I wanted to go when we were there, but didn't have the time.

Sedona is awesome. We went a few years ago, and enjoyed hiking and shopping around the town and we went on the pink jeep tour. We had a hot air balloon trip planned but unfortunately the winds were too strong the morning we were supposed to go.

i REALLY want to do the hot air balloon, i think it will be so romantic!! thanks for responding, i'm soooo excited!!

I just went in May and had a wonderful time! We did some hiking, shopping, and saw some wonderful sunsets....we also did a side trip to the Grand Canyon.
We stayed at the Sedona Real, a nice hotel which specializes in efficiency & 2BR suites. We went with friends, and this was perfect. Although if we stayed alone, I would have opted for the Sedona Rouge.... it looked lovely.
We did the Grand Canyon trip through Grand Canyon Railway. The journey was a little cheesy, and $$$, so I don't recommend it. Also, you only get a few hours at the Canyon, and I felt like it could have been longer. The Canyon itself was really inspiring, it's definitely worth an overnight up there. The food at El Tovar is supposed to be amazing too....we didn't go because of time constraints.
I have motion sickness, so we didn't do the Pink Jeep tour, but our friends did and RAVED about it!
