Re: Any good Broccoli recipes???
I steam it and add lemon and grated parm cheese. YUMMY!!
Also, i do it sometimes where i mix it w. garlic powder and balsamic vinegar
Oh, i also tried baking it once. I laid on a baking sheet and sprinkled w/ oil and chopped up cloves of garlic and laid that in pan too. Bake on 450 for 10 mins

Re: Any good Broccoli recipes???
we LOVE veggies... so we make huge piles at once... This is our mid-week recipe (low effort!)
cut up the broc and a head of cauliflower into bite-sized pieces. Put in a microwave safe bowl with about 3 cups of water and microwave on high for about 16 min, stirring 1/2 way through... when it's cooked through, drain and set aside.
Sauce: 1 med onion-diced 2/3 bag of light shredded cheese (cheddar/jack combo, or all cheddar) about 2T butter about 3T flour 2 cups milk salt & pepper to taste
Melt butter in pan. Sautee onion until clear. Add flour and stir for a couple min. Add milk, S&P. Bring to a simmer, and then add in cheese. Stir until cheese has melted. toss broc and caul in sauce and eat
tres delish!

Re: Any good Broccoli recipes???
This was from Food Network, I used half the butter.
Broccoli with Infused Butter Recipe courtesy Ingrid Hoffman 4 cups broccoli florets washed 2 tablespoons butter 1/2 cup fresh-squeezed orange juice, about 2 large navel oranges Orange zest
Set up a steamer. Steam the broccoli florets for 3 to 5 minutes, until just slightly tender. In a separate small saucepan, heat the orange juice over medium-high heat. Reduce to 1/4 cup. Remove juice from heat and add butter, stirring to melt and combine thoroughly.
Pour over the blanched broccoli and toss. Serve with the orange zest over the final served dish.
