Fresh Ham
I bought a Fresh Ham yesterday - and I don't even know how to make it - cause I have never made it before.
What do I need to do??
Sorry if I sound dumb

Re: Fresh Ham
If it has the skin on it, score it crosswise. If it doesn't have the skin, skip step one! I usually coat it with Sazon, but you can use just salt and garlic powder. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Put in roasting pan. Bake 20 minutes per pound. Let it stand for about 10 minutes before cutting. I always serve it with mashed taters and apple sauce.

Re: Fresh Ham
I like to cook my fresh ham for a long time and very slow. I usually score the skin, stuff it with garlic cloves. I also, like to make a paste of garlic and salt and rub it all over the pork. Season with salt & pepper and then roast on 325 for about 4 to 5 hours until the internal temperature reaches 170 degrees. The fat on the pork melts and bastes the pork and it is absolutely delicious.
