So overwhelmed...
Hi...
I just need to vent. I love my job SO much... but I am so incredibly overwhelmed! I am at a private school & getting very little money, and also have 2 small children at home. I have a full class schedule plus the yearbook. It's the yearbook that's killing me... I have one computer for the whole thing, and am running the business angle as well. I have NO experience doing this, and a lot of this is my fault. As a brand new teacher, I don't want to admit that something is too overwhelming. It's gotten to the point where I feel like my classroom performance is really suffering. I don't know what to do, but something is going to have to let up because just about every aspect of my life is suffering!
Thanks for listening... vent over.

Re: So overwhelmed...
Is there another teacher at school that can offer some assistance with yearbook?

Re: So overwhelmed...
The school is REALLY small, so I don't think so. Everyone already does at least one extracurricular as it is. When you think about it, most high schools have yearbook as a CLASS, and I'm doing it with one computer and 3 helpers!!
Thanks for the I don't want to vent at school because I don't want to get the "complainer" title, and I don't vent at home because DH just doesn't get it. So, thanks.

Re: So overwhelmed...
When I did the yearbook, I asked if I could be a co-advisor and split the stipend with the other person. It made a HUGH difference. Can you do that?
