Induction?
Today I was told that if I go past my due date that I may have to be induced sooner because of the gestational diabetes.
Anybody have any thoughts about this?

I was induced a little over a week early because of my cholestasis. At that point, the itching was driving me so crazy, that I didn't care.
I ended up getting a c-section after about 8 hours of being induced, because I was getting intense contractions right on top of the other and not getting a chance to rest/breathe. The baby wasn't getting enough oxygen.

my SIL was induced because her first was a big baby and they were afraid that #2 was going to be big...which he was! Had she gone just a week or 2 more, he would have been over 10 lbs!
ETA: she said the induction was not that bad and she got her epidural when she was 3 cm and was able to sleep until she had to push!

I was induced.... had a slow leak in amniotic fluid. It was awesome.... The best natural delivery a person can ask for....
