It was recommended by a friend who was in my graduating class after I told her all the BS I have experienced so far in my first year.

I found it to be an interesting memoir, and I have experienced most of the things he talks about during the first few months of teaching in an inner city school. (He taught at a school in the South Bronx.)

I want to see if anyone else has read this and what their opinions are.

And if you hadn't read it pick it up its such a good read.
