Re: How much does international adoption cost?
It all depends on where you want to adopt from. Start by researching agencies, but from all the fees and travel it can cost quite a bit of money

Re: How much does international adoption cost?
It all depends on the country you choose. Research adoption agencies and most will have a breakdown of costs on their site. Of course that just lists agency fees and you'll have to add in travel fees if you need to travel to pick up your child. There are also fees you need to pay in the US for authentifications of documents and visas/passports and such that aren't included.
It's not cheap but worth every single penny.

Re: How much does international adoption cost?
i've been reseaching it, too. ( i have a genetic disorder and i've known since i was 7 or 8 that i can't have bio kids). from what i see, its usually around 20-30,000 depending on the country, agency fees, etc. BUT there is a tax credit that i beleive is up to about $11,000 that you get back after the adoption is finalized.INFO

Yes there is a tax credit but the amount is prorated if you make over 150,000 and I believe is very minimal if you make over 200,000.
