Driving to FL

We are driving to FL next month.
Where do you recommend we stop and stay a night?
I'd love to drive straight through, but, not with a one year old. We want him to try and get a good night sleep so he's good in the car.
We are thinking of Santee SC or Jacksonville, FL.
Any recs?
We are driving to Deerfield Beach which is still about another 6 or 7 hours from Jacksonville.

We have driven done a couple of times.

I think we stop in Georgia -but I will check with DH to make sure.

I think to make it to Florida (jacksonville) might be a little long of a drive - you might want to stop before then. I know we leave pretty early and we are sooooo done by Georgia.

I will check to see where we stayed an let you know.

We were driving to Disney, but we stopped in Florence, SC and stayed at the Springhill Suites by Marriott. It was a great location, right off I-95 and had tons of restaurants and stores in the area. Jenna was 18 mos
