Does anyone here go to the poconos?
If so...where do you stay? What hotel/motel have you stayed in and recommend?
We have always stayed at the Quality Inn which used to be the Sheraton and then a Clarion. We werent too happy with them the last time, so I was looking for other suggestions. Its not for a couples weekend, more for a family. Thanks!

I do, matter of fact, we were up there this weekend. We have a house there though, maybe you should look into renting a house for the weekend instead of going to a hotel.

We used to rent a house at the Hideout in Hamlin PA. I loved it there. We are planning on going back probably next winter when DS is old enough.

if its just you and DH, I recommend Caesar's Paradise Stream. Stay in a Lakeside Villa.

That's so funny! We went to this one several times--the one with the pool/courtyard and "Whispers" and the Perkins across the street?!?  We went last year for New Year's Eve with several friends and their kids and we were going to do it again this year, but something just didn't sit right with me...and we couldn't find anything similar in the Poconos, so we didn't end up going anywhere. I'd also be interested in alternatives!
