Moving to LI and preggo with twins....
Hi, I'm new here (but was on liw a few years ago...). I have a 14 month old daughter and I'm 15 weeks pregnant with twins. we currently live in seattle and are going to be moving to LI in about a month - husband got a new job and things are happening fast! We'll be in Rockville Centre (with my parents) to start.
I am going to need to find an OB/GYN ASAP and am looking for some advice. Can anyone recommend a great OB? I prefer a woman, and I guess I'd need to deliver at South Nassau or North Shore????? The last time I lived full-time in LI was in high school, a looooooong time ago, so I need some serious help and advice here! I love my doc and hospital in Seattle and I'm hoping to find someone as great in LI.

They specialize in multiples/high risk and deliver through North Shore Manhasset. Several twin mommies I know used them for OB and continue even if they are finished having children. They love the practice.
Dr. Anita Sadaty is the only female member of the practice.

I dont have an OBGYN to recommend because I live in Suffolk.

I was going to recommend the same practice. It is great for multiple births.

wonderful. I am very excited for you. My doctor was affiliated with LIJ. I heard they just redid South Nassau's
Maternity.

I'll have 3 under 2 - my daughter will be 19 months when the babies come!!! I'll be a busy momma!
Thanks for all the advice and congrats!!!!! I think Dr. Sadaty that was mentioned was JLo's OB, so, that must mean something.... :)
