Starting South Beach Diet next Monday
I lost 22 lbs in about 6 months back in 2006 for my wedding and kept it off for a while until I got pregnant...my goal...30 lbs.
I currently weight 168  I gained 35lbs during my pregnancy, lost 30 and recently gained 8 lbs since I stopped nursing and would like to get down to 140 lbs. by this summer...
I've always been a size 8 but I'm aiming for a 6...
Wish me luck I'll make sure to post before and after pics!

hey!
i had the opposite experience with nursing - i actually gained weight while BFing because i was ravenous ALL the time and couldn't stop eating!! now that i'm weaning i find myself much less hungry and able to control what i put in my mouth. but it was getting ugly for a while there, i was a bottomless pit, and now i am paying for it with 10-12 pounds to lose 
anyway, good luck with south beach!! i am doing ww core, which is similar to phase II of sb...

I also ate like an animal while I nursed, but for some reason I was keeping it all off...now that I stopped, even though my appetite subsided, I still crave the carbs...thats whats killing me!
