If you gained twenty two pounds..

Would your clothes still fit you?

I just got on my digital scale- by no means am I denying I gained weight since our wedding- but 22 lbs is A LOT and I have been working out and watching my points like crazy. Also, my other scale says about ten pounds less. Not sure which one to believe!

My clothes feel looser than they were pre-workout/point craze. I've been real good for about 7 weeks. I don't understand this.

Re: If you gained twenty two pounds..

I'm really short. So 22 pounds is a lot on my body. I'd probably go up a size if not two. Do you think your scale my be wrong?

I seriously hope so! Chat Icon

These are my "pretend" weights ( would never post real weight) but the real difference on the scales

Digital scale - 120

other Scale- 110

Wedding Weight- 98 lbs

My clothes still fit Chat Icon

It sounds like it's time for a new scale.

I agree. A new scale in an order. No way you would fit into your clothes...unless they were too big before Chat Icon

Re: If you gained twenty two pounds..

digital scales are not very accurate.

if your floor isnt perfectly level, it will not read right.

Re: If you gained twenty two pounds..

It does sound like your scale is off. However, if you're tall (like me Chat Icon ), it's absolutely possible to gain 22 pounds and wear the same size and clothes.

My clothes don't fit if I gain 5lbs.

I would put a weight on the scale and see if it reads what the weight is. If it is off you know what your difference is.

I went from 118 to 143 2 years ago (quit smoking) and I certainly went up 2 sizes.

Re: If you gained twenty two pounds..

if I gain 5 lbs my clothes don't fit

if I gained 22- they wouldn't get past my legs

I think you need a new scale!

I gained about the same and I have some pants that still fit.

It depends on how tall you are and where you gain weight. I put on weight in my neck, face, thighs and arms. Some of my pants are tight in the thighs but would still fit my waist if I could get them over my thighsChat Icon Most of my suit jackets though don't fit, think fat boy in a little coat.

Since the other scale is ten pounds less though you may want to try out another digital scale.

Any update? Have you re-weighed yourself or purchased a new scale? Now I am curious......

I am short. 22 pounds would be like 3 sizes for me.

Re: If you gained twenty two pounds..

Ha ha no update, I am averaging the two weights. I think Digital is about 5 pounds over, and the normal one is about 5 pounds.

Either way, I put on weight since wedding. Chat Icon
