Does anyone exercise with their SO or spouse?

My problem is not motivation but discipline. When DH and I were earlier in our relationship, we'd go to the gym for 2 hours with his brother. Now, I can't get him to even take a walk with me. How do you get your SO/spouse to do it with you?

Yes on Weekends we go together!!

we go together 2 nights a week. we motivate each other!

Sometimes we do, especially on weekends when there is bad weather. We'll do a cardio DVD together, ie, Billy Blanks Ultimate Boot Camp or Tony Hortons Beach Body. It's fun!!!

We work out together at the gym. It's good because I force him to go with me and vice versa and we push each other to work out hard.

We go for walks together when we can and we do pilates reformer classes together. We both belong to the same gym.

we walk and ride bikes together. Sometimes he goes on our hikes.

He is sooooo in shape though and very athetic. Its not necessary for him to do the mindless calorie burning cardio that I do.

He is dying to kick my a$$ in a Bosu class, but doesn't want to be the only guy in the class.

Used to (my exboyfriend is a trainer) but now I'm on my own- DH said he wants to start once we move down to NC!

My DH goes every morning, but honestly, I hate going with him.

He does cardio first, while I like to weight train first.

We don't even talk the whole time we're in the gym. I may as well go by myself at that point.

on occasion. I go way more then he does but I sometimes guilt him into it

we go a few times a week together - we usually do 10-20 minutes of cardio and then 30 min or so of weights.

We used to and I would love to again!

But someone needs to watch DD. So unless we go for walks, actual workouts, are done separate.

We run in the park a few times a week.

Before we had DS we used to run together. Since having him, we work out separately since one of us has to be available to watch DS.

Yes there is a park by us and we go bike riding on the trails after work as long as it isnt raining.....

before kids - all the time. Now we have to take turns babysitting. Now, he walks the golf course 2-3 times a week and I run the roads.

we go for walks in the evening.

we walk to the park (1/3 of a mile there) and play tennis or throw around the football or softball.

He'll do DVDs with me, but we're just getting back into the habit of exercising, so we havent done them together in a while.

I probably bring it up more (to go to the park, etc...), but he's really receptive to it. He started losing weight lately (he's down 4 pants sizes! ), so he feels even more motivated to keep it up!

I think the key is that i try not to nag him about it. He's more likely to do it if it by his own choice, not b/c he feels like im making him do it.

We used to go to the gym together years ago. Now, I can't even get him to take a walk.

I think it would help me a lot if he did, b/c I would go more often.

for those of you who can't get DH to do something - what about walking to a store or to a purpose, like neenie does. Dh and I used to walk to the restaurants we lived near when we were in CA - I miss having everything in walking distance!

we ride bikes together, we actually rode 9.5 miles this weekend, best we've ever done. I love to ride with him, its boring without him.

He also goes to the gym, he wants me to join to go with him. I'm still thinking about it.

We walk every night after dinner. LOVE that it's light out late!
He gets home around 7-7:30. I don't know what we are going to do in the fall, but, we'll worry about that when the time comes.
Maybe I can get him to walk before work
We shall see.

We go to the gym at the same time, but do not work out together. He does all sorts of strange functional/core training stuff, and I do more 'traditional' free weight exercises.
