I'd have to say we're pretty equal. I do have two degrees in Chemical Engineering, but I don't think that makes me more academically smarter than DH. He's pretty smart himself.

without a doubt i'm academically smarter than my DH--many times we'll be talking about things like culture, arts, science, literature, etc. with friends and he won't know the answers to things and gets mad cause i do.  '
BUT hes totally street smarter than me

I am academically more accomplished (won't say smarter though, for example, he is better at math than me but I did much better in school). He is defintely street smarter.

I'm more street smart than DH and he's academically smarter than I am overall. I'm a better speller and paper-writer but he rocks at everything math and science related.

Academically my husband is brilliant. Not that I consider myself a dull one. But I think overall there's some background knowledge and things he doesn't know. I guess it all evens out.

He is the neverending college student who loves taking classes and watches the discovery channel all the time. So, book smarts, he beats me.
His parents lied and cheated systems throughout his childhood, so he also beats me in street smarts.
But, to the eye on paper, I win since he is dyslexic. He can't spell at all.

I think I'm a bit smarter overall. Academically, we're pretty close, but I'm winning thanks to my current 4.0(which I'm quite proud of). I definately think I'm a but more street smart.
I hope that doesn't sound conceited

I dunno. I think we're about equal. I'm a biochemist, and DH is in school for the exact same degree..... we both have rather well-rounded yet complementary knowledge...
DH has a photographic memory, however.... so he remembers virtually everything

I am smarter overall. But he's good with technical things like computers and electronics. But he has no street smarts and I do, and I'm extremely book smart. He's not dumb or anything, just not as smart as me.

His IQ is supposedly 10 points higher than mine, but academically, we are pretty equal with specific talents in different places. He excels in business, math and economics. I excel in writing and expression.

We're pretty even (which is why we work so well together... ). I believe that DW is smarter academically, and I'm smarter street-smart wise. For either one, however, there isn't a huge disparity.

I have a much higher level of education, but I feel that my husband has more 'natural' intelligence than I do. When he was in school he got fantastic grades without trying. He just didn't care for school enough to continue going.
I think that he has way more common sense than me. He also picks things up very easily. I - on the other hand - am more filled with useless knowledge and trivia.
