Cape May, NJ

Can anyone suggest a nice place to stay in Cape May that isn't too expensive?

i've never been there - but a lot of my friends go there from time to time and there is no place really that isn't expensive...

a friend of mine recently went down there for a wedding(we live in jersey, so it's down there to us) and couldn't afford to stay - so she had to come back 3 hours home...

it's a very pricey, but supposedly lovely place!

DH and I have stayed at The Dormer House a few times. We love it. We do go during the off season though so it's not as pricey.

We have been going to Cape May for the last 6 years...

If you are willing to have a teeny room, and have your bathroom down the hall-- you might be able to find a room for $100 to $150...

We usually stay at the Carroll Villa and pay somewhere around $200 a night-- which includes full breakfast. They do have several different room categories though.

Thanks Ladies!! We booked AC for Sunday and Monday so we wanted to go to Cape May for Friday and Saturday. But it seems a little too expensive to couple it with AC.

Thought of that but it's still kind of expensive
