Z-Pack?
I was away, had a terrible cough, turned out to be bronchitis. Went to a clinc where a doc gave me a script for a Z-pac. I go to the pharmacy where the pharmasist gives me 3 of the 5 Z-pack pills and tells me my insurance will only cover 3 of the pills and I have to wait 23 days to get the other 2. I called Empire who tells me that the 3 pills is sufficent to cure me according to the FDA or whoever deems what doseage is for drugs. W T F? Are they doctors? Why make a z-pack with 5 pills if they only need 3 to make you better? AND finally won't 3 pills, not being finished with the other 2 cause drug resistance?

That is the weirdest thing I have even heard. Anytime I have gotten an Rx for Z-Pack it comes in the pre-made blister pack, not a pharmacy container, so how do they do that.

I watched the pharmacist take the bubble pack out take my 3 out. Then I questioned it and he said they he will put the other 2 in for me... of course another $10 copay for the othe 2 pills

Is it 500mg or 250mg?
The 250 is 5 day, the 500 is 3 day.
Sounds like maybe the doc wrote it wrong.
