What do you pack for the hospital? Let's make a list!
I know this might be a obvious question, but I am having a mental block about what I need to pack.
HELP!!
Could we start a list?

I don't have a complete list for you, but these are the things that were really helpful for me:
- nursing tank tops (if you plan on nursing)
- comfy pants
- flip flops
- boppy pillow (if you plan on nursing)
- camera, lots of batteries
- chap stick
- bottles of water
- calling card (I have a lot of OOT family)
That's all I can think of for now.

telephone list
lolly pops for labor
massage things for your DH or coach to use through labor
nightgown and robe (you might ruin it though)
warm socks for labor
change of clothing for you
change of clothing for DH
snacks for DH

I was told to bring snacks for after the baby being born. Of course, all I can remember was the food.

Book/magazine for after DH left ta night to help fall asleep with ( and MP3)
Pads
BOPPY!!!
Own Pillow
Socks
Slippers
Extra large panties( your stomach still doesnt go down for a bit)
some concealor/cover up and some lipgloss

donna, i like the makeup suggestion. i would have totally forgotten this, but i don't want to look like a ghost when people come to visit!

Good idea for a thread. I think I am going to pack sooner rather than later...just incase baby wants to make an early visit.
I wish I could bring a hair stylist with me to blow out my hair. I just imagine my curls getting all frizzy from labor and delivery and look like a total mess after I give birth!

i brought just about the same as everyone above plus EARPLUGS! you really need them. i often had nurses and doctors coming in to my room. they tried to be quiet. they woke dh every time. don't know why he refused to wear them. o well.

I was glad that I brought my make up... for some reason the next day after giving birth I had all these small red spots all over my face, looked kinda like rash... it went away the next day but I was happy that I could put my make up on when I had visitors...

I brought make up too. I never was so excited to be able to take a shower and put on make-up before in my life!
I also lived in tank-tops and gauchos and old lady underwear (which were perfect for a c-section and nat. delivery).
