hotel in Manhattan
I cannot find a hotel under $500 a night mid week in September. I have searched and searched. Any suggestions?

we stayed at the marriot --i think it was the marquis----there are 2 marriots right in times square

Thanks. For some reason I cannot find anything under $500. Maybe something is going on that a lot of the hotels are booked.

Try Priceline - the name your own price feature.
Since you are looking in the coming weeks, you should be able to get a good deal on remaining available hotel rooms.
