I love the Marriot in Time Square.
DH and I went there a few years ago the view is amazing

Yes, it is and they are getting a new Jean Georges restauarant within the next few months. I am a little biased though because that is one of the hotels I work for. Its the only hotel in NYC with Butler service and they have great designer suites - Tiffany and Bottega Veneta and others....
My company used to own the Essex House, but they sold it in 2006. It was a nice hotel that needed a lot of updates. I am not sure if the new owners have done any renovations.

I was going to say the same thing about The Hudson Hotel...the rooms are incredibly tiny...it's more the type of place you want to party at and then LEAVE to stay at another hotel.
