We spend on average $150 a week. And since Ryan is only 3 months old it's really just DH and I.
We eat a lot of organic, and I cook every night for DH and I. And I am also home a lot for lunch.

It is just DH and I and the bill is usually 115-150 a week. I buy detergant, shampoo, paper towels,etc at the grocery store. I cook at least 4-5 nights a week and we take lunch and breakfast.

About $80 a week for us. I try to use coupons whenever I can and only buy stuff when it's on sale.

I had this same discussion with DH last SUnday. He can't understand the price of food shopping so I offered to wait this week and go with him which he declined of course  But seriously i dont think thats bad at all. Between Costco, BJ's and the food stores I spend more then you do for me, DH and SD (who is only over a few days a week) so you are doing a great job!

I buy toiletries, soap, etc. at a Target or the like unless the sale at the supermarket is great (ie. 88 cents for detergent) but on a week where I am completely stocking up on meats and things we really need, it can be about $90 max for two of us including lunches, produce and snacks for the two of us. We eat in 4-5 nights on weekdays and one dinner out on weekends typically...I think your bill sounds reasonable, however...

Its just me DH and DD.. on average I spend about 200-250$ every 2 weeks. I usually end up having to go to the grocery store a few times a week to pick up things for dinner.
This week we spent 400$ because we havent gone in a month because of the wedding and honeymoon.
BJs is usually once every month or 2 and thats about 400$..

I spend, total week to week (including BJs, Target, Grocery Stores) about $60-80/week for 2 people.
It used to be $50, but the cost of everything I've been having to spend more.

I would say about 500-600 a month for two adults and a toddler. I never really figured it out because we do Costco trips which sometimes are small and other times are big when we stock up on meat.
Honestly to me for living in NY your weekly expense sounds pretty darn good.
