going back to original certification
How hard do you think it will be? I have been in my new one since 2006, but I'm just not feeling it and miss my old subject.
How would I explain this at interviews? won't they be thinking, what will stop her from switching back.

What if you tell them you've really enjoyed the opportunity to try something new, and it's helped you to appreciate the first certification that much more, then launch into explaining how the skills you've acquired from the new certification will help you be even better at the old one?
