Shoes?
SIL just became an art teacher in FL. She is a total flip flops and sneakers girl but can't wear them at school. Any recommendations for brand/type of shoes she can wear being on her feet all day? She's not really into heals and needs very good arch support.

Re: Shoes?
I hear aerosoles are good shoes, but I dont have a pair.
I usually wear Uggs in the colder months, and skecher ballet type shoes but with support (well better support than reg ballet flats)

Re: Shoes?
Born shoes are great. I have a bad back and need a supportive comforatble shoe but I had a hard time finding cute ones. These shoes feel like slippers but have great support!

That's me, too. You will NEVER catch me teaching in ANYTHING with a heel because to me that's just crazy...
I agree with the OP about the Aerosoles and Born shoes. Believe it or not, I always find great shoes either in Payless or in Marshalls, too.

Re: Shoes?
Clarks are awesome....I've been wearing the same pair for...geez probably 4/5 years now? Back when I got them I wasn't teaching, I had a desk job. So I've been on my feet in them for about 2 years. They've held up and NOTHING compares. I can't find any that fit just like it and look like it either!

Re: Shoes?
I LOVE Easy Spirit. they are so not dorky like they were 20 years ago. i love them. they have "dressy" sneakers as well as great loafers, etc. they also have heels and the like, but i never wear those to school.

Re: Shoes?
I have terrible foot issues and can't wear heels either. I second the vote for Aerosoles and Clarks, and actually, the American Eagle brand (from Payless ) has some comfy options. She should check out Naturalizer too.
I gave up fashion for comfort long ago, and i don't regret it!
