eating at night
I wonder if this is just a coincedence But the number on the scale hasnt moved in a while I havent been to worried about it but it was a little annoying....I do alot of my eating at night. I am not that hungry during the day so after my nightly jog I would come home have dinner and then my 100 calorie snacks and I eat most of my calories then
well the last 2 days I havent eaten after my jog.........Just water because I jog at 6:15-7 so I eat dinner at 4:30-5 and then jog
well the scale was down 2lbs this morning
is this coincedence or what??

I have read that people eat more at night if they don't eat a lot during the day. Do you think that could be it?

I can't imagine that you lost 2 pounds in 2 days when you haven't changed your calorie count. It was just water weight (which changes during your "time of the month," when you eat a salty meal the night before, and for a million other reasons).
The only way to lose weight is to burn off more calories during the day than you eat. Exert more energy than you ingest. They've found that people who eat more during the day tend to lose more weight, not because eating at night is inherently weight-causing, but because when you don't eat too much during the day, you eat a lot MORE at night (your body is hungry!) so your total calorie intake for the day ends up being higher.
Eat small meals every few hours (like 5 or 6 in total) with lots of fiber to keep you full, and it's usually the best way to control your appetite and keep you on target for a good calorie day.
