Question from a parent for 6th grade or MS teachers
If a child misses the state math testing in March, do they offer a make-up?
We planned a trip to Disney (the kids will be missing school Thurs. and Fri.) and I just found out the state math test is scheduled for that week.

I would call the office and get the exact schedule for your school regarding make ups. In my school they tried to do makeups for each grade on a different day so it wasn't total mayhem.

Yes, we give make-ups during the two-three days following the last day of testing.

The school should give a make up if the child misses the test.
And in the future, I know my school puts all of the state tests on the school calendar, so you could always check before you schedule your vacations.

Sorry, I TOTALLYYYYYYY misread your post. I thought you said " you SHOULD always check before you schedule your vacations." not COULD.
