Dry skin?

But worse than just dry. Red, itchy, peeling, cracked, painful skin. It started on my ring finger and now it's on my pinky.

I know I'm sensitive to gold, so I haven't been wearing my ring lately, I've been using Eucerin during the day and Aquaphor at night. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I'm getting desperate here.

Sounds like Eczema. See a dermo- they can prescribe some creams that work much better than the over the counter stuff.

You just described my ring finger.

I have 2 spots of it. One really red spot under my rings and another up by the pad of my ring finger. The pad will actually crack at times (TMI, I know)

It also itches like crazy. I am not sure what it is. I have been putting off going to the dermotologist to have it checked out. Mine started when I was still BFing DS, so I couldn't put anyting other than Aquaphor on it. Now there is nothing stopping me from getting it treated except my lack of calling!

If you find out what yours is, let me know because it sounds like what I have. Hope your finger feels better soon!

Amanda, your post made me laugh - sorry. If I find out what is wrong with my diseased fingers, I'll let you know, in case we have the same thing!
