Twin sleeping issues
I know I must have asked this question before, but I need to know to you mothers who had twins how did you handle them sleeping together in the same room and them waking each other up unless you do the 1 second sprint to there room. I have a terrible time with one of my twins who constantly wakes up in the middle of the night at least 4 to 5 times to be rocked back to sleep. I am at my wits end.. Any suggestion or anybody out there who has had the same problem with there baby not sleeping well, or any type of solution that may help. They are 9 1/2 months .

I was the sprinter for a good while. Then I try to leave the cryer alone to see it they would fall back to sleep. Most of the times they would & the other baby wouldn't wake up. If it's "normal house noise" your other child will soon be able to sleep through it.

Hi, I am going through the same thing. One of my girls is teething terribly and that is the reason she is waking up in the middle of the night. Are your children teething also?
When they wake up crying do you try to give them the pacifier first or try rubbing their head or back or do you automatically pick them up? I try to soothe her while she is still in the crib, only when this doesnt work then I do pick her up.
Unfortunately rocking them back to sleep is my only option right now because if I let her cry too long she will wake my other daughter up.

Same goes for me. Once I let them more or less cry for a bit they would get back to bed on their own and the other twin rarely (if ever) woke up.
The good thing too is if you start this the other twin learns to sleep through the crying. One of my boys still gets up all the time and cries and the other one never wakes up.

Same here - I wish I had stopped "sprinting" sooner - it only took a few nights for them to start sleeping through each other's noises.

ITA. I wish I had stopped "sprinting" sooner also. One of the twins would wake up many times during the night. I finally let him cry and most of the time the other baby did not wake up.

Yes they are both teething , so that could be the cause of so many times between them waking up at night. Unfortunately they will not take the pacifer anymore. They both stopped at 6 months. They perfer on chewing on my clothes. Thanks for the response ladies.

have you tried sleeping them together? I dont know their ages but I am a twin (identical sister) and from birth until about 10 months, we slept best when together.
Keep in mind they were used to tight, crammed area and holding each other (if Identical).
