My SD brought it up all on her own and asked my DH if Tuesday we could go out to dinner !!! My DS is going to be so excited too !
My DD's christening is Sunday and SD didn't bring it up (DH told her about it earlier in the week) but thats ok , I thought maybe the big scene thing wouldnt have been the best way to reconnect for the first time anyway, and I have a feeling she may have been a little overwhelmed (she probaby felt the same )...The important thing is that she knows she was welcome to come if she wanted to and I'm sure that means a lot....
This is huge for us, and hopefully the start of something good...Because of her age (11), we will not be imposing any strict visitation on her, even is all goes well...When she was 8, it was different - what we are hoping for, is that she will WANT to come more and more often- all on her own...
I am so happy that DH will finally be able to have all 3 kiddies together - Please cross your fingers all goes well for us !!!! Its going to be so nice to finally see her again
