protonix

did anyone have really bad side effects from protonix? i was given it for acid reflux and now they think it my be the cause of my increased panic attacks and anxiety..did anyone experience anything similar..rapid heart beat, sweats, naseousness...dizzyness?..

I looked it up and from what you are describing it sounds like it might be the rare side effects ! I would call your doc to be sure

ty for this!! my dr insists im nuts for thinking this drug is the cause of what im feeling! i have stopped taking it to see how i feel in the next couple of days! ty again

I took it twice a day for quite a long time and had no side effects.

I took it a LONG time ago so I hardly remember - like 6 years ago - but, I remember stopping it b/c of not good side effects. I actually took one other acid med b/f finding the one that worked perfect (Prevacid) - one of them gave me really sharp pains in my rib area and the other made my heart race but I can't remember which one was which - SORRY! Did you try Prevacid? I took it for a few weeks back then and have been fine ever since!

ty for ur response... i def tihnk 90% of my bad symptoms lately have been from this protonix..i have stopped taking it but feel not good--i just want this thing out of my system!!!! instead of acid reflux i have like 30 other issues now lol..
