Looking for a great endocrinologist in Suffolk!!
I need a new endocrinologist -- mine doesn't take my insurance anymore (Dr.Wexler).

I used Island Endocrinology in Smithtown.
Dr. Sussman is who I use. I believe they take almost all insurances BUT they do have a heavy weight list for new patients.

Dr Lengyel-Kremenic is AMAZING!!!!!!
I know she is in Dr Wexler's office, but not sure if they are on the same insurance plans.

The wait list for new patients is about 4 months!!!!
But from some of my calling around I found that this was pretty common..
I wound up using Dr J Terrana out of default. He had a cancellation and I was able to get right in...
Ive been fairly happy with my care. He's in Nesconset on Southern Blvd. But he has another office too..Im just not sure where..

I use her as well and really like her. But.....it did take me 3 months to get in to see her. I make sure as I am leaving one appointment to make another well in advance.
