Great Podiatrist in Suffolk
I am on the lookout for a great podiatrist in Suffolk just to get another opinion before I have surgery on my foot (I want two strong opinions before I go ahead with this since it is the life of my feet we are talking about-lol).

Thanks for the suggestions-i'll look into them. I think I am just so nervous since this will be my 1st "big" surgery. I have a horrific bone spur on the top of my left great toe that is actually malpositionoing my other toes and causing me to have tendonitis in the arch of my foot. The cartilage is pretty much all gone too there so I can barely bend my toe at all-it sucks. My podiatrist is now recomending I get a rod and screw inserted and i'll be completely non weight bearing for 6 weeks then in a soft cast for another 4

Try Dr. Bodamer in Smithtown/Hauppauge. He did surgery on my Mom's feet and he is A-MAZING!

Dr. Coombs in Smithtown. He performed 2 surgeries on my feet, with no complications. Good luck!
