i wouldnt leave it untreated..they dont normally go on its own..i've taken Diflucan in the past and the infection would be gone in 2 days.

Yeast is a fungus, not a bacteria. You can try to kick it on your own...time, water, direct application of plain yogurt, eliminate all sugar from your diet, etc...but if it continues to get worse or persist as is for longer than you can tolerate...then you'll need an antifungal like Diflucan or Miconazole. Good Luck...those really suk.

Try an OTC cream,such as a 3 day Monistat. Very likely it won't go away on it's own since the balance of bacterial flora has already been disrupted.
