Yeast Infections?
Peyton has a double ear infection and a yeast infection. The doctor told us to get lotriman (I think that's the name - it's at home). They said it's pretty potent. Should I be putting it on her every diaper change?

Re: Yeast Infections?
I would since it probably wipes off onto the diaper. If it doesn't work well enough, ask the doctor about nystatin. Hope it clears up soon.

Re: Yeast Infections?
Yes we're going through this now with Katie. Put it on after every diaper change. Wipe the baby with water on a paper towel - not wipes, which can irritate the baby more - the pat the area dry and let her sit without a diaper for a few minutes - then put a thin coating of the Lotrimin on.
We used the nystatin but Katie was allergic to it and had a bad reaction to it.
ETA we also put acidophilus in her bottles 2x a day and its been helping.
