can boys get yeast infections-UPDATE
on their tushies? My son has had a rash for awhile and was on amoxicillin last week. I am wondering if i should call the doctor b/c maybe its a yeast infection. also, how do i know the difference b/t a yeast infection and regular diaper rash?

-thanks guys, just got back from the doctors and it was fungus so he gave me vusion to put on it

YES!!! i would call the doc.. my boys had a constant yeast infection for MONTHS!!!!! we finally got it cleared up and i know use the medicated baby powder for every diaper change and we havent had a flare up since! good luck

i think so.
There is a medicated cream i think its called vison (something with a V) that is for that.
Id call your dr and ask.
