question about bunion surgery

it's been three and a half weeks since my surgery. i know it's still swollen and may be for months, but to me it looks like i still have a bunion..and this worries me.

I have been working for a podiatrist for many many yrs- it will take 6-8 weeks till you are in some sort of a shoe- usually a sneaker, and it will take 1 yr for all the swelling to go away. Feel better. If you have any questions call them, it is normal to have swelling, that could be causing it to look like you still have a bunion.....

i see my doc on tuesday, so ill bring it up to him then...although he should see for himself!
