brookville children's services - sp ed preschool?

Has anyone sent their child here?

DS just turned 2 on monday and he has a speech delay and various sensory issues and other cognitive delays. He receives speech 3x45, OT 2X45 and spec. Inst. 2x60

I started him in a local nursery school for the summer so he could socialize with kids his age. Well, they don't think they can continue to service him without a SEIT - and he's not eligible until he's 3.

I talked to the therapists about what happened and they called my service coordinator who offered to get him into a program here for five 1/2 days. I'm excited. I'm going to go visit next week but I'd love some feedback!

My child didn't go here but I worked with a few children that went here (I do SEIT afterschool). The parents were very happy with the school. Which center are you looking at? I knew kids that went to barbara c wilson and the new hyde park center.

ETS: I believe the new hyde park center was called marcus ave early childhood center before it was acquired by AHRC.

I think it's the new hyde park center (which I think might be brookville now). It's definitely in NHP. I'm glad to hear some of yor parents were happy!
