good EI PreSchools in suffolk (to get Sp Ed teaching experience?)

I need to get experience with the EI age group before I get approved

so Im looking to work part time somewhere local to gain experience.

I know DDI is very popular.
any others ?

IT can really be any school, but I'd rather go directly to a school with EI children to get great experience.

any help ideas would be greatly appreciated !

I don't have a lot of details about it, but a lot of people I know had children at Leeway in Sayville. I know they have a special needs program, so it may be a great place to start!

I was going to suggest DDI. I have a friend whose son goes there and she loves it - she credits them for a lot of his improvement.

thanks guys. someone also highly recommended Building blocks in commack.

now an agency today said they would still give me the work /cases/ experience (in EI) under their guidelines until I can get approved by NYS.

but preschool and school aged, I can do no problem... confusing as heck, lol.

so many damn complications for teachers ! ahhhhhhhhhh !!!!!

I have had many children in my class who have come from Building Blocks. They seem to have a great program.

My son goes to Building Blocks and LOVE it.
