Stepmonster - the book
for those of you who have read it, how do you feel? i finally finished it tonight and i feel 100% better about everything going on. i am able to communicate my feelings better with my dh b/c i know where my "guilt" feelings are coming from. just checking in to see how it's going with everyone else :)

Yes! I have the book and I have read through 3/4 of it and it has really helped validate my feelings and that there are others in the same exact situation as me. It has also helped me to realize that some of the things we have experienced are "normal". Other than this board I don't have anyone who understands the tough situation I am in so it really helped.

I'm so annoyed at myself!! DH ordered this book for my bday but it didn't make it in time so I got a note in a card to go pick it up. Silly me waited to long and they sent it back! I'm a dork! I have to get this. :)

that's great that your dh ordered it for you, it won't take long to get it in, i'm sure...if he's willing to, you might have him read a few chapters and/or listen to the points that resonate with you....i was able to do some of this w/my husb and i think it made a difference :)
