I don't know if I am going to O this month
I have been testing so far....
CD11 (neg)
CD12 (neg)
CD13 (neg)
CD14(neg)
CD15 (today-neg)
my cycles are only 28 days long! shouldnt I have gotten my smiley by now?! The month we got PG (before MC) I got my smiley on CD14, and the month before that I got my smiley on CD13.
What is wrong with me?! It is possible I missed it, since one day I took the test really late (like9pm), and another day I took it earlier than usual (like 2pm)
but still....I am worried I might not have O'ed this month, although I have had EWCM from around CD12-14
Shouldn't I have gotten my smiley by now if my cycles are that short?
we already BD CD 8, 10, 12, 14....I am thinking I should BD tonight and the next few nights just to be safe.
What do you think?? I am so frustrated with this right now! I should prob post this on TTC but i just dont want to go on there...I feel more comfortable on here right now, since I know you girls can relate to what I am going through..I would have been due in 2 months from now, I just want to get pregnant soon!
ETA: I also tested last month and never got my smiley either....although I only took like 3-4 tests and then gave up. I was sure I would O by CD 14....and when i didnt...I just gave up.
*UPDATE*...finally got my smiley (CD16) although now i am afraid i messed up my BD schedule (see my other post)

You may have just missed it...but most likely not. I think those tests are really not that realiable which sometimes people just won't get the smileys even though they def O'd.
I gave up on tests after a few months and just went by my EWCM. They were never that accurate with me and sometimes I wouldn't get my dark line.....PLus they stressed me out to much. After a few months of using them...I had finally gave up on them and just went by EWCM and that was the month I got my BFP! I think they add stress.
I think if u had EWCM. then that should be a good sign that you were O 'ing. Did you BD those days when you saw EWCM?? I would just BD every other day every other day for the next 4-5 days.

You are right...the tests are totally stressing me out too. I guess I just feel like I want to test b/c that is what I did when I got my BFP. But it is not helping when I am not getting my smiley! We did BD around the days when I had EWCM, and I think I will try to BD the next few nights in a row to be sure I covered all my bases.

I would just try with out the tests for a little. It helps to keep you more relaxed. I became OCD with those test- so i had to give them up. lol

My cycles are typically 28 days and I didn't O until day 21 this cycle so keep testing!

EWCM is the real test! You're doing the right things..keep it up & stay away from any type of tests, they're all SO stressful. I'm glad you came her to vent, we're here for you & I know what you mean about the TTC bard, scary sometimes.

I agree about the TTC board. I dont feel comfortable on there either that why I stay over here.
Its very possible your cycles are just out of whack. Before getting pg, my cycles were 32 days and O on CD20. Now that we are trying again I would like to use the smiley test but Im afraid the same thing will happen; that I wont get the smiley and I will freak out.
I agree with everyone else, I think the EWCM really says it all.

That's why I don't want to use those tests. Women got pregnant way before those tests were invented! Plus it's just one more thing to make you go crazy.
My doctor told me BD 2-3 times/ week after AF and I'll be fine. For my BFP we did more 3-4/week so I'm going to go with that!

I agree with you Jen. In May, I used an OPK just very randomly and I happened to test on the day of my surge so we BD'ed for a few nights in a row but then I got AF. In June, we BD'ed a lot leading up to the + OPK and thats when I got pregnant. I really believe the extra BD'ing was what did it and that the OPK really didnt effect it at all.
So thats what I am aiming for this time. I should be O'ing within the next week so we are just going to BD as much as possible; I dont even think I will use the test.
