Gifts for Therapists

what do you or what would you get your childs therapist or teacher for a christmas gift...

he has 1 teacher 2 aides at school
4 ABA therapists at home
1 speech & 1 OT therapist

we are stumped

EDIT: i guess i should have added... hes been in school since sept.

and 3 therapists have been with him since Jan 09 and 3 since March 09.

I plan on doing gift cards for the teachers and the one therapist he has been seeing for 6 months. We just started with a speech therapist, so I will probably get her a small gift, since she will probably have seen him maybe 8-10 times by the time the holidays come around.

I was going to do $25 on a visa gift card for the therapist that has been with us since April. There is no service charge on the card at TD Bank if you have an account.

I actually would consider giving her more if I didn't have to give gifts to his 3 daycare teachers too. She really has been wonderful and we have seen so much progress since she has been working with DS.

I have 18 teachers and therapists to buy for between my 2 children and I went to Yankee Candle in the outlets and bought beautiful candle holders for them and they were $4 each- they look like a $15- $20 item and I think they are going to love them Throw a tea light in each one, wrap them all pretty and you are good to go! 18 Gifts for under $80!!

I was going to post the same question. I have so many people to buy gifts for so it's hard. DS has 8 teacher/teacher aides at his daycare (they are split between both sides of the room) that I have to get gifts for. Then I have his 4 therapists through EI.

I'm thinking $10 gift cards from Target. I'd love to give more than that, but that's already $120. Of course, a nice card to accompany all.

2 years ago we gave DS's therapists a handmade ornament/card with DS's pic & a $10 GC to either DD or 7 11. Last year we made them another ornament/card & got them each 2 movie tickets. That was only 4 therapists, though.

This year we have 5 therapists & 2 helpers. Then at school there are 3 therapists, 1 teacher & 3 helpers The amount of money can quickly get WAY out of hand! I was thinking another handmade ornament w/ DS on it & a GC of some kind, but I have to see how much we can do.
