Heel spur

Hi all,

My foot has been hurting for 2 weeks now and it is not getting better
I can't put the heel of my foot down it feels llike pins and needles and it is swollen. I called the dr and he said it sounds like a heel spur...I have an appt tomorrow at 5:15 ..
Has anyone had this or does anyone know anything about it?? I did some research but I am still clueless.....

I'm pretty sure my mom had a heel spur. She had to get special inserts to put in her shoes, a brace that she wore at night on her foot to keep it in the flexed position (instead of the pointed position). She also got some cortisone injections. After a while, her foot is better now.
