Question regarding one twin being smaller than the other?
My boys are 2.5 weeks old, Nicholas was born weighing 10 ounces less than Christian. On Monday they were 12 ounces apart and by now I think they must be a pound apart since Christian seems to be putting weight on much more quickly. And he just looks so much bigger!
For those who had one baby bigger than the other, did they even out at some point? If so, when? Thanks -

Re: Question regarding one twin being smaller than the other?
I have boy girl twins, but my son has always been bigger and as time has gone on, the weight difference has actually gotten bigger. They were with a 1lb, 3oz difference and now at 13 months that has gone to a 8lb difference!
are they identical?

We are 99% sure they are fraternal.
The size difference is really really noticeable - I don't know why it's worrying me but it is

Re: Question regarding one twin being smaller than the other?
My son Marco was always an exact lb. bigger than my son Alex. When they hit about 6 months they started to get closer in weight. Now at 9 months, Alex is actually 2lbs. bigger than Marco. It is funny that he was the smaller baby and now he is the much bigger baby.

Re: Question regarding one twin being smaller than the other?
Mine were about a lb apart when they came home, then went to 7 oz"s apart and then again to a lb apart and now at 2 months they are 7 oz"s apart again. I think it is going to flucuate a lot in the first yr.

First off...congratulations!!!! I'm not here that much since I'm on maternity leave so I just saw that you had your babies.
As for size....Gia was 4 ounces smaller than Nicolas at birth and at last check, she was 8 ounces smaller. Not a huge difference. The whole time I was pg, he was bigger than her.
Good luck with the babies!!!! I'm so happy for you.
