twins sleeping schedule

how did you get your twins on a schedule? Did you pick the times or did you go by when they woke up?

For example. Last night the boys ate at 830 then I waited for them to wake me they woke up at 130 and then again at 5am. I would rather them eat earlier like 7 something and then sleep wake me at 12 and then again at like 4-5am.

How do I get them on a schedule like this?

I didn't really get them on a schedule until around 6 months.
How old are they?

I can't get mine on a schedule yet...I wish. I tried to get them to eat earlier, but it was too soon and they didn't agree w/ me and it failed. They are 3 months now.

Re: twins sleeping schedule

It's so hard to get one on a schedule - two it seems impossible! They are great during the day but I try to adjust their 6pm feeding to work with dinner. However, either they aren't hungry and won't eat or they are starving and have to be fed before that. It would be ideal though for them to eat at 6 and then again at 9 and go to bed. I'm working on it. It will just take time and patience.

Re: twins sleeping schedule

The triplets will be 6 months on Jan 31 and here is what I have them doing now and it is working for us.

Wake up anywhere between 6am-8:30am (not all at the same time usually)
They get a 7oz bottle then put back into crib for nap.

9:30-10:00 am they get 1/2 jar of fruit and 1 1/2 Tblespoon oatmeal

Between 11:00 and 12:00 they nap in the crib again

Between 1:00 and 2:00 they get another 7 oz bottle

5:00 is dinner time they get cereal, fruit and 4 oz bottle

Between 8:00 and 8:30 is the last bottle of the night which is 7oz then they go to bed and STTN
