What is considered a short Luteal Phase??
I'm not sure when I ovulate anymore. Before the m/c I was always CD14 (I'm on a 28 day cycle). After that i was on CD16 and now that I've had a 2nd m/c I really have no clue when I O at all.
I tried doing the OPKs this month (I'm on CD14 right now) and I guess I still haven't O'd, even though I've had the EWCM these past couple days.
I'm curious what is actually considered a short Luteal Phase though. If I get it on CD16 on a 28 day cycle, does that mean something bad?

If you O later than usual, and don't have an LP problem, you'll just get AF later than usual.
The "O" date is what fluctuates in a woman's cycle, not the LP (by more than a day or two).
Any LP shorter than 10 days is considered problematic, although mine is usually 9-10 days and I've gotten pregnant twice with the help of b-complex vitamins. Some women need further medical intervention because a short LP can mean there are other issues (such as a progesterone deficiency).
Good luck

As long as you Ovulate on CD 16.. Your luteal phase will start from day 17-28 ( or whatever is the last day of your cycle, prior to AF arriving again). Which would be 12 day Luteal Phase.
To count your luteal phase...
You count the day AFTER ovulation until the day BEFORE your period begins.
I think they say anything less than 10 days is a LPD.
Hope that helps!!
